What Is Emergency Services Support?

Psychological support tailored to the realities of frontline work — helping you navigate operational pressures, critical incidents, and the cumulative demands of the role.

How We Support Emergency Services Personnel

We work directly with personnel to provide trauma-informed psychological care:

  1. Confidential Contact You can reach out directly to The Integration Centre or through your program-specific pathways.
  2. Initial Consultation Meet with a psychologist familiar with frontline culture and the operational, emotional, and social demands of the role.
  3. Assessment & Care Planning – We collaborate with you to explore challenges, identify priorities, and co-develop a personalised plan that fits your needs, circumstances, and goals.
  4. Therapy Sessions – A collaborative approach drawing from evidence-informed and trauma-informed methods, meeting you where you are and supporting insight, practical skills, and meaningful change.
  5. Ongoing Support – Flexible, confidential sessions continue as needed, tailored to the demands of your work and life.

Who Can Benefit

Emergency services personnel, SES staff, correctional officers, and other frontline staff seeking support for the pressures and challenges that come with working in frontline environments.

Our Approach

We blend trauma-informed, evidence-based methods with a lived understanding of frontline work. We understand the language, operational pressures, and personal impact of this work because we’ve walked in similar shoes.

Our approach is whole-person, meeting you where you are and supporting resilience, confidence, and meaningful change.

Safety & Suitability

Before therapy begins, your history and experiences are reviewed to determine emotional readiness and stability. Safety and suitability are considered throughout therapy, guided by your comfort, nervous-system regulation, and ongoing clinical judgment.

Sessions are always paced in line with your readiness and capacity
