What Is Preparation & Integration Therapy?

Preparation and Integration Therapy provides psychological support for adults who are preparing for, or integrating, self-directed psychedelic or altered-state experiences that occur outside the therapy setting.

The focus is on preparation, emotional safety, grounding, reflection, meaning-making, and integration into everyday life.

This service does not involve facilitation, supervision, recommendation, supply, administration, or direction of any medicine.

How Preparation & Integration Therapy Works

  1.  Preparation Phase — Preparation sessions focus on psychological readiness, emotional grounding, coping strategies, risk awareness, intention setting, and support planning.
  2. Integration Phase — Integration sessions support reflection, meaning-making, emotional processing, and the translation of insight into practical life changes.

Preparation & Integration Therapy is psychological support only. All psychedelic or altered-state experiences are self-directed and occur outside the therapy setting. No substances are supplied, recommended, administered, facilitated, supervised, or directed.

Who Can Benefit

This service may support adult clients seeking structured psychological support before or after self-directed psychedelic or altered-state experiences that occur outside the therapy setting.

Suitability is assessed individually, with attention to mental health history, current stability, risk, support systems, psychological readiness, and current treating professionals.

Our Approach

We provide trauma-informed psychological support within clear professional and ethical boundaries.

Sessions focus on emotional readiness, grounding, reflection, meaning-making, psychological safety, and integration using evidence-informed therapeutic frameworks.

Safety & Suitability

Client safety is central. We do not facilitate, supervise, recommend, or direct psychedelic or altered-state experiences.

All therapeutic work focuses on preparation, coping strategies, emotional regulation, risk awareness, and post-experience integration.

Liaison with a healthcare provider, such as a GP or psychiatrist, may be recommended as part of assessment and care planning where clinically appropriate and with client consent.
